i'll be going over my voter pamphlet this weekend, probably checking that helpful bay guardian chart on who supports what, but i'd love to get some grassroots opinions. anything fellow district fivers feel strongly about for this election?
my mayoral ballot:
1: josh wolff
2: qeuntin meeke
3: chicken john or grasshopper or the nudist dude.

with IRV you have up to three protest votes if you wish. if you hate newsom that much, fine, don't include him in the three. but by voting for "chicken john or grasshopper or the nudist dude" are you making your voice heard about WHO you want RUNNING the show?
city offices are for policy makers. period. chicken has never before voted, so why should he get votes? the other two guys are a joke and a waste of everyone's time. chicken might be effective on a committee/commission. i believe much of his passion to be true.
also just because we have three slots doesn't mean we have to put a name in 'em.
